Laser Vibrometer
Non-contact vibrational measurements on any type of surface
The vibrometer is based on the Italian Patent IT0001369738 which uses a set of commercial laser rangefinders to be able to carry out vibration measurements.
The dedicated software captures the different signals and from these calculates the vibrations in the orthogonal direction with respect to the laser beam on the specific parts pointed by the rangefinders.
The system can be used to measure vibration (up to 50kHz with an accuracy of 0.001 mm) or deformation on a specific plane and can be also used for measurement at great distance.
